The Seawall Cleanup was done in conjunction with International Volunteer’s Day and expanded a simple seawall clean-up project to include interactions between volunteers, vendors, and persons walking on the wall. With the support of the local police, volunteers engaged the public while collecting trash. Volunteers explained why they were volunteering while promoting waste disposal. This effort was meant to encourage responsible behavior and to reduce the amount of refuse discarded during the Sunday Night Lime.
